A Noble Companion

A.Space gallery owner Jill Layman has curated an exhibit titled A Noble Companion: Artistic Expressions of Horse & Rider (August 1 – 31), including works by artists like Jane (drawings and sculpture), Rebecca Kinkead (oil and wax on linen), Siri Hollander (sculpture), the late Gino Hollander (abstract acrylics on canvas), and Ani Thompkins (oil and acrylic on canvas).

Notes Layman, “I wanted to create an exhibit to support the tradition of the Menlo Charity Horse Show (MCHS) in our community and present a comprehensive exhibit that captures the horse’s majestic nature through sculpture, photography, oils, and acrylic paintings.” The A.Space gallery will hold an Opening Reception for the MCHS Board and guests on August 3 from 6pm – 8pm.

During the Menlo Charity Horse Show (August 7 – 12), A.Space will donate 15% of sales to the event’s beneficiary, Vista Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired. Layman adds, “I hope both competitive equestrians and pleasure riders will enjoy the talent represented in the exhibit.”

A.Space is located in downtown Menlo Park at 773 Santa Cruz Avenue  |
