Children of Shelters presented Jingle & Mingle, the festive and unique holiday fundraiser featuring a silent auction of amazing wreaths and art by top local designers and florists, not to mention fabulous food, wine, cocktails and music. A flock of well-heeled revelers descended upon The General’s Residence at Fort Mason for the occasion, including event co-chairs Camille Marks and Libby Ornani and interior decorators Will and Jen Wick. Among the contributing designers, artists and florists: Jay Jeffers, 7 on Locust, FOUND by maja, Marea Clark Interiors and Tish Key Interior Design. Proceeds benefited Children of Shelters’ mission to provide support and education for children living in or being served by the homeless shelter system. “Our grants support children’s academic achievement and character development,” according to the SF nonprofit. “We believe that education and self-esteem are the keys to breaking the cycle of poverty.”
