When we established Credo Community Partners seven years ago, we wanted to connect with local nonprofit groups to celebrate their mission while raising money for their cause. To this end, each month we partner with a different organization doing exceptional work on issues like healthcare, food security, homelessness, civil rights, domestic violence and independent media, among countless other topics.
This October, we’re proud to support the YMCA of San Francisco, which has worked tirelessly for more than 160 years to build strong kids, families and communities in Marin San Francisco and San Mateo counties.
The YMCA offers far more than just recreation. The organization runs a wide range of innovative and holistic programs throughout the region that nurture the physical, social, emotional, mental and spiritual well-being of Bay Area kids and adults alike.
From workforce development training to mental health services, and from programs focused on academic success to engaging Bay Area youth in nature-focused outdoor activities, the YMCA of San Francisco plays an invaluable role in supporting our community, and we’re thrilled to return the favor.
There are several (delicious) ways to help out throughout the month. Order our featured cocktail (“Barrel Aged Boulevardier”: Michter’s Sour Mash Whiskey, Campari, Casa Marteletti Vermouth Classico) or our signature appetizer (burrata with marinated heirloom tomatoes and toasted levain). For each one we sell in September, we’ll donate $2 back to the YMCA of San Francisco.
Most important, join us for our YMCA of San Francisco “takeover night” on Tuesday, October 17, when 20 percent of all dinner sales will be donated back to the organization. Tell your family, friends, coworkers, casual acquaintances and strangers on the street; the more people we serve, the more we can contribute to this important mission.
