The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay: For one night only, June 30, the luxe coastal resort is offering its Stargaze by the Sea package, which commences with a fireside pour of premium whisky. Subsequent stargazing will be led by Ed Pieret, vice president of the San Mateo County Astronomical Society. The package also includes ocean-view accommodations. |

Jordan Winery: As part of its 50th anniversary celebration, the Healdsburg winery is launching its alfresco Social Impact Summer Dinners (June 24–August 27). Each of the four events will spotlight a different organization: Boys and Girls Clubs of America, Council on Aging, 10,000 Degrees and Soi Dog Foundation. The five-course meal — paired with Jordan vintages — showcases the Jordan chef ’s garden as well as local farms. |

Colibri Mexican Bistro: More than two years after shuttering its Union Square location, Eduardo Rallo’s venture reopened in the Presidio last month. Executive chef Edgar Castro returns, delivering an authentic Mexico City experience with classic Colibri favorites joined by new items such as quesabirria and tlayuda. The beverage program, led by Viridiana Gallardo, includes mezcals from producers worldwide. |

OFJCC Seasons of Tasting @ the Farm: The Oshman Family JCC’s benefit subscription parties, which raise funds for the community center, include the opportunity to bring the family (two adults, two kids) to Debbie Togliatti’s Los Altos Hills farm for a taste of the season. The series — cohosted by Susan Wojcicki and Dennis Troper — is slated for June 12, July 10, October 23 and January 15. |

Napa Valley Wine Train: One of the few active historic railroads in the country has tapped chef Rodrigo Cuadra to lead its culinary program. Trained in classic French cuisine, the Miami native initially moved to California to work with chef Thomas Keller. Since coming on board, Cuadra has introduced dishes like eggs Benedict with Tsar Nicoulai smoked salmon, hollandaise and potato rosti. |
