Holiday Heroes at Home is the Wender Weis Foundation for Children’s virtual take on the family-friendly ballpark event it throws every year. The celebration will feature exciting awards presentations, entertainment and athlete appearances. Donors and attendees have the option of receiving a Wonder Box at home — filled with seasonal activities — and/or underwriting a Be-A-Hero Box — filled with the same goodies, in addition to including essential items for underserved children that will be sent to those in need. 5 p.m. holidayheroes.org
