On December 2, Gregg Lynn of Sotheby’s International Realty and Black Mountain Construction | Development hosted the unveiling of a custom-built Penthouse at The Pacific. Part of the bespoke Penthouse Collection, the “healthy home” — built out by Black Mountain with organic and toxin-free materials and filtered air — is one of six penthouses in the nine-story LEED-certified building, designed by Handel Architects, on Webster Street.

As the sun set over Pacific Heights, 150 guests from the worlds of design and real estate enjoyed the festive soiree, with Champagne and appetizers provided by Mellon’s Catering and music by a jazz trio composed of drummer Ed McClary, saxophonist Lincoln Adler and pianist Greg Sankovich. As Lynn reflects, “My team and I greatly enjoyed hosting this super-fun holiday event attended by real estate–design industry leaders and building residents for a first look at a custom 5,310-square-foot penthouse.” That square footage makes it not only the largest residence in the building, but indeed, as Lynn says, “one of the largest condos available in the City.”
