This one-day run/hike/swim challenge is an ode to the past suitable for IRONMAN enthusiasts. Nestled amidst an ancient rainforest, on a private island fringed by white sandy beaches, lies Pangkor Laut Resort. Running for its fourth consecutive year, The Chapman’s Challenge pays tribute to the unbreakable strength within the human spirit. Consisting of a 3.8-km road run around the island and a 2.4-km rainforest trek, the race culminates with a 1-km swim in the sea of Emerald Bay before concluding at Chapman’s Bar, where the names of the top five finishers are displayed after the race. As the beach is bathed in the golden hues of the setting sun, enjoy cocktails and a sumptuous barbecue dinner at Emerald Bay, prepared for you and your comrades to celebrate your achievements.  |

Serengeti Girls Run

3rd Annual Serengeti Girls Run

The multi-stage, all-women event is suitable for runners of all levels who will encounter an abundance of wildlife and breathtaking scenery as they cover 21km each day. Runners are accompanied by scouts from the Grumeti Fund Anti-Poaching Unit, and a support team in a shadow vehicle to ensure their safety and comfort. Each runner’s participation includes a donation to help fund numerous nonprofit initiatives, including academic scholarships for local girls; mentorship and internship opportunities; enterprise development training; and environmental education. Singita Sabora Tented Camp, situated on the plains of the Serengeti, is the luxurious base for five nights.  |
